Architect, design and develop state of the art solutions for solving business problems utilizing the latest and greatest technologies. Document design using architecture and sequence diagrams for use by developers Keep current on latest technology trends. Develop and implement new software maintain and improve existing software. Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization. Recommend improvements to existing software programs. Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams. Provide technical coaching to Junior developers.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or related; and progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience (5 years following Bachelor’s or 3 years with Master’s) as a Consultant, Engineering Lead, or related software developer occupation, which must include some experience with: managing software development teams; logical and physical database architectures and operating systems; Agile and Iterative development methodologies; Financial transaction systems; designing and developing backend micro-services; server side technologies (Java, NodeJS, Spring, REST); Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git, Node, Maven, Gradle; agile development; enterprise architecture and server side design patterns; and event driven architectures and Messaging (eg. TIBCO EMS, Apache Kafka).
